This policy applies to the Attuned mobile app (Android and iOS) and the attunedapp.io website. Attuned exists to help you and your partner stay more connected. That only works if you trust us with honest, private input — so we take that trust seriously. Here's exactly what we collect, how we use it, and what we'll never do with it.

When you use Attuned, we collect:
Everything we collect serves one purpose: powering the AI that helps you show up better for each other.
Specifically, your data helps Attuned:
We never sell your data. We never use it for advertising. There are no ads in Attuned, and there never will be.
This is the part that matters most.
Your private data is never visible to your partner. Journal entries, check-in responses, health data, onboarding answers — none of it is shared between accounts. Ever.
The AI reads your private input to understand what you need and to generate better nudges for your partner. But it never exposes your raw words, your journal entries, or your individual responses. Your partner gets the benefit of your honesty without seeing the details.
This isn't a setting you can toggle. It's how the system is built.
Attuned runs on Cloudflare infrastructure — specifically D1 (database), KV (key-value storage), and Durable Objects (real-time coordination). Your data is encrypted at rest and in transit.
We don't store data on personal servers or in someone's garage. Cloudflare's global network provides enterprise-grade security and reliability.
We work with a small number of services to make Attuned function. Here's the full list:
That's it. We don't use analytics platforms, ad networks, data brokers, or tracking pixels. No Google Analytics. No Facebook SDK. Nothing that watches what you do and sells it to someone else.
Attuned only asks for permissions it actually needs. On Android and iOS those are:
We do not request access to your contacts, photos, location, microphone, or camera.
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. We aim to complete deletion requests within 30 days, and we delete from production immediately (backups are purged on their normal rotation).
Two ways to delete:
What gets deleted: your profile, onboarding answers, journal entries, check-in responses, push tokens, any optional health/cycle data, and any AI memory derived from your input. What we may keep: minimal billing records where required by law, and aggregate, fully anonymized usage counts that cannot be linked back to you.
While your account is active, your data is retained so the app can keep working. We don't sell, rent, or share it with anyone outside the third parties listed above.
Attuned is not intended for anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us and we'll remove it promptly.
If we make meaningful changes to how we handle your data, we'll notify you through the app and update this page. We won't quietly change the rules.
